I'm posting this workout mostly so I can remember what all I did in this morning's Kaia FIT class. But still, I know I forgot some things!
The instructor had us partner up, so almost all exercises were done with or facing another person.
Jump rope across the floor, 10 speed jumps x 5
Snowboarders (squat, touch floor, jump 180 degrees, touch floor)
Paddlers with resistance bands (link bands w/partner, pulse straight arms down and back)
Cross-country skiers (right leg/arm lunge, hop to switch sides)
Shoulder thrusts (medicine ball, arms straight up, shrug shoulders)
X’s with resistance bands (link bands w/partner, pull to create X with arms)
Leap frogs over low bench
Kaia builders (arms overhead, down to floor, plank, feet out, feet back in, push-up, stand up)
Fast feet/dead girls (one says "dead girl" and the other drops flat to floor and back up fast)
Wall sits with medicine ball toss
Sit-ups with medicine ball exchange
Oblique twists with medicine ball
Wall sits with resistance band rows
I was seriously tired after this workout! I'm also not sure why, but after these workouts, I'm starving yet if I take a bite of something, I want to barf. And it lasts like 2-3 hours. Maybe I just need to get used to the intensity.
Also, I need to get a jump rope. And practice at home! I feel like a kid learning it all over again.
