Good News...And a 5K Too...

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

This morning I measured myself, because I haven't done so since last October. My weight has pretty much stayed the same, but I lost an inch in my waist and an inch in my arms. So that's great! :) :) :)

This afternoon I signed up for a cheap $10 5K at my school in a few weeks. I think it'll be a good goal for my tri prep! :)

My exercise plan was to swim this morning, but I didn't make it because I'm getting sick...and also because I had a chemistry assignment due at 5pm today, which is now done because I cleared everything off my calendar for the day and stayed in front of the computer with a hot pot of tea and some toast!

Tomorrow is my next running day, and I'm planning for 3 miles. My ankle brace is off today but my foot is a little sore. It'll go back on tonight or tomorrow. Keep praying for me!!!

Also, one of my study buddies is training for a half marathon this June, and she wants to run together this Sunday. So Sunday, I'll do 4 miles, hopefully. :D

Get well soon! Don't over do it and get run down! Wish I could still run. My hip just can't take it anymore. Bursitis is not fun to deal with. It won't be long and it will be summer break. Do you take classes over the summer? Have a great evening! emoticon
