Well, I've managed to get yet another try of 10 min/day of exercise in. I've started getting in my ten at work, walking the long hallways to get away from the computers and phones for a while. Yesterday was my seventh straight day. I was able to start back up since the sniffles I started to get weren't that bad. I was really worried I was coming down with yet another bug, but I only needed Sudafed for one day. My walks feel really good, especially after I build up speed. March has been a pretty busy month at work. I've picked up a lot of shifts as we are preparing for a huge system change in April. Basically my whole job will change as the physicians will do their own order entry. Some of it sounds good, a lot of it is scary and there will be a lot of growing pains as we change to this new way of doing things. There will be no more paper chart on patients, everything will be electronic. From what I understand, the government mandated this. Every hospital is either preparing to do this, or has made the switch already. Be prepared... I may be grumbly and complaining a lot next month. I'll have a lot to vent about.
Today I've been charting out the family's April schedule. Oh my! I think I need to learn how to do a spread sheet or something! Four kids in soccer, two in track, six in piano with two different teachers, concerts, my work schedule, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I'm glad my oldest can share the "Soccer Mom" running around. If the weather warms up, I'll use some of that time down at the soccer fields for exercise. Maybe I'll even be able to start jogging by then. We'll see. I'm taking it slow and cautiously with my tendons.
