I might call myself chubby..

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

but I haven't forgotten that I am a BEAST in the gym! And I am not delusional ladies. Run a marathon, and you yourself will call yourself chubby next to these ROCK STAR women(unless you are one-.-) BEAUTIFUL they are! Trim shoulders, waist and quads for miles! My goal before I am 40!

On to my next goal

Yep the highland games! woooooooo! Oh Caber toss! I knew it was for me when I watched the games last fall! It looks sooooo intense! Lots of core strength needed! I started a power lifting program today! I need to scale back my carbs! DAMN! I am pretty excited though. I am a LUNK through and through.
If I weighed 200 pounds I know I could bench half my weight! 100pds x6

It felt good to really hit the weights. I am going old school and back to pushups, dips, situps.extensions, squats, deadlifts, and chest press!

Yeah I might call myself chubby because of my gut. But I also call myself a beast because I can lift weight like a mad person.

oh I can also fit into my women's fit race tee.

Define yourself.

I was just searching for other people who do Highland Games and came across your blog. I threw in 12 games this season and I'm gearing up for the World Masters Championship in Scotland next year.

Did you get to throw/turn a caber? I sure hope so! Never thought I'd have so much fun as being a part of the Highland Games!!!
Be well.

You are not chubby! But I think we are all our own worst critic. You are beautiful and have accomplished so much! Just know I admire you and wanna be running a marathon before I'm 35... But that gives me 9 months so idk. I have to get serious about it then. Did u deal with any heel injuries ever? Mine is killing me and my running!

measure yourself against yourself, and no one else. are you at the peak of your conditioning? are you a million miles away from sitting on the couch eating chips and cake? yeah, i thought so. you are B.A. - so do you & do it good! :D

You rock it in the gym, you Hause you! Now you can focus back on those heavy weights.
