My scale is broken -- boo!
We got it as a wedding present almost five years ago. It is a nice digital scale that balances on four little feet. One of the feet snapped off. I've been using it still but it is clearly compromised.
I'm a bit bummed because this scale weighed me really close to the scale at my doctor's office so I could be reasonably assured of it's accuracy.
Tonight, we're going to pick up another, hopefully it will work out. Any suggestions?
By the by, my dentist's appointment went really well yesterday! Though there is definite work to be done, I felt really good knowing I was addressing the matter head on rather than hiding from it.
So far, the week has been going well for me. I've been doing well with nutrition, exercise and water. I even made "cookies."
Well, cookies is a stretch but I found a recipe on the eating clean website for "Two Ingredient Cookies." The only ingredients are two ripe bananas and a cup of quick oats. Mix 'em together, roll 'em into little balls and into the oven at 350 for 15 minutes!
The finished result is vaguely cookie like, lol, enough to scratch that itch, with no added sugar or fat, no gluten and they are vegan, too!
I hope to experiment more with these kinds of recipes so I can still get the enjoyment of baking without compromising my health goals.

Edited to add also: Forgot to mention another NSV today. Wearing my smallest suit today, a regular size 16 which is a bit loose! When I first started suit shopping in 2009, I was in 18W! 18W>16W>14W>18>16> That is a big difference! Suits are always a tough buy for me due to my, ahem, ample bosom so this is aweosme, can't wait til I wear a 14 or 12 in suits and then I'll be able to shop for them wherever I want! I did try a size 14 Banana Republic suit recently and it fit, but was a bit tight, almost there!
