Tootsie exercises: I have been trying to try unconscious exercise.. Starting from toes to neck,, just sitting there clipping coupons or reading, staring at the boob tube? arm circles, leg lifts, lifting a pile of pillows with my feet... little things that count, but also help stretch things while we are not really getting the heart rate up.. Kind of like automatically drinking water instead of pop or koolaid..

    Chair exercises were a staple for me in the past.

    Linda----Only way to go. Every stop light I stretch my arthritic fingers and pretend to play piano on the steering wheel. You are right it does become a habit after a while HUGS Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    That is a most excellent idea. I kind of do the same thing. During the day while watching tv I will just get up and start jogging in place for about a hundred steps. I might finish a few blog comments and then jog in place. Seems to be working. Keep it up!
