As I stand here in my kitchen typing up this blog, one thing comes to mind.... Bread! I am one of those people who just loves bread. Bread smells good and taste good. Unfortunately most of the bread we get from the store is highly processed and has corn syrup and some traces of milk in them. I am allergic to milk and corn so I have to stay away from bread. Basically one trick to not give into your craving is to write how the craving makes you feel and why it is probably not good to indulge in the craving,. By the time you are done writing then the craving should pass. If that doesnt work grab something else like an apple. Eventually your cravings will stop. How do I know this works? Because I am doing this right now. If that still doesnt help call or text a friend for someone to talk to. Vent about your emotions and your clean eating struggles. You just might find that if you get out of your own way you can succeed. Now it is time to munch on an apple.
