Takes 30 days to make something a habit or so I have heard. Well I will take that challenge here at Spark People.
Day 1 - Went good manage to eat healthy throughout the day. Nuts, carrots and snap peas my snacks of choice. Leaving them on the counter throughout the day really helps with grabbing one of them to snack then searching for something that may not be so good. I even cooked a delicious healthy supper. -stuffed-acorn-squash/ found this recipe on fitnessmagazine.com prior to finding this wonderful website. Was definitely a good recipe to introduce the family to healthy eating. They all loved it even my BF whom when I said I was making it yesterday got scared and ran to a Chinese restaurant.
I also started to take Vega One a plant based protein shake. :P nasty lol. I think I need to figure out away to make it or just keep drinking it as fast as I can so it doesn't touch my tongue.
Yes I did work out. I love to dance and that's my choice of working out. I did an hour of Zumba burnt over 600 cal. I purchase a family pass to our local rec center which also has a fantastic gym. I will start to add some more exercise in the gym or taking the Swim aerobics.
