So while I totally did NOT keep up with my activities and food over Spring Break, let me assure you that I worked my butt off!! The first few days just consisted of cleaning the house, and I mean DEEP cleaning. And a little gardening. Then I tried my Doonya DVD which was AWESOME!!! I absolutely LOVE it! It's fun and most definitely a work out, I sweat more in those 40 minutes than I do in my HIIT workouts!! I've also been trying to practice meditation, I've found it helps me to focus and ground myself, which is a MAJOR issue for me. ;) So fast forward to Thursday where my mother in law wants to go to Six Flags. Let me tell you, that place was packed. We walked over 3 miles the entire time we were there, which was 5 hours (and we only got on three rides!!!). I had my pedometer on the entire time, but somehow I accidentally reset it, but the last reading I saw was 3.6 miles. Then we had to get ready for camping. We left mid-day Friday and went to Cedar Hill State Park, which is beautiful!! Did some light hiking there, but spent most of the time playing with Cam. It was nice to get away for a while, but we were definitely glad to get home. We had intended to stay both Friday and Saturday night, but it got pretty cold Friday night and was going to be even colder Saturday, so we decided to go ahead and leave Saturday afternoon. And it's a good thing we did, too, because NO ONE in our household got any sleep Saturday or Sunday night. Cam was burning up from what we thought was his sunburn, crying all night both nights. I took him to the doctor Monday because it was beyond obvious by then that he didn't have a bad sunburn that would be causing a fever, and it turns out that he has Strep. So SB was a nice break, but I'm more than happy to be back at work with my routine. :) Now, if I can just keep from catching Strep, I'll be happy!!
