I wish I could've ran the race this weekend and I wish I hadn't had so much time off from exercising...I feel very weak.
On a bright note, I am officially 35lbs down today! I am hesistant in celebrating because I feel that the flu wasn't the way to get there but hey! there was a lot of hard work leading up to it.
This is a great improvement from where I was 6 months ago.
What does 35 lb weight loss mean to me?
-My anxiety is controlled without medication. This is the #1 difference in my life.
-Less back pain (minus the sprain).
-No knee pain.
-Better mental acuity.
-Lots of new friends met along the way.
-Running my first 5k!!!
-I feel freer. I don't have to worry about not being able to finish something, or not fitting into something...I'm not at goal but I'm looking forward to the future.
-Less and less migraines!!! (This is also a life changer!)
-I Breathe easier.
6 months have flown by. This is something sustainable. This is something within my control. I am so close to goal, I am so excited!!!!
I am thankful for this journey. I am thankful that I decided to "try again." I am thankful for all my sparkfriends because they are truly inspiring to me, and when I feel down or uninspired, it doesn't take much for them to pick me right back up.
