My hurdles and the quest to overcome them

Getting rid of those extra pounds is difficult or so it seems to be for me. I have a very bad habit of giving up just when I must not. After much thought and going through experiences of several other people I realized I am not alone. I hate exercising. After the first two weeks of repeating squats, lunges or kick boxing moves during cardio, I feel like a machine. It is not interesting anymore. Once the novelty wears off, I am off the track in no time and soon the pounds come back again.
But recently I realized something, my love for dancing. Not some choreographed work out routine but dancing from heart. I love bollywood music and dancing to it. It is relaxing, fun and feels so natural. Since I do not like exercising, I have taken up walking instead along-with keeping a check on amount of calories taken during the day. So far it seems to be working and I need to make sure that I stay on track and do not give up.
