Weighin Wednesday

Sooo.....
Weight last Wed: 258. Weight today 245. That is not a typo. Its all water weight. Today might even be a false low due to low calories the last two days. Friday I started a new BP Med and lost 4lbs the first day. No idea how long this will continue. Now I can actually see meeting my short term goal of 240 in the next 2 months. Hopefully I will be there before tax day but if anything the last three plus years have taught me, my body does not behave as expected.

I'm still struggling with sinus crud. I'm about halfway done with the antibiotics. Hopefully the dizziness between the two meds with stop soon. Its much better than it was over the weekend.

    That is a great loss and one you can be very proud of. Even if part of it is water weight, I think that part of it is also "weight weight" (as distinguished from "water weight").

    Wow! Even if that loss is just water weight, your body will feel better without it. I'm always amazed at how much extra water in our bodies can weigh. You've been doing great with your tracking, too! So happy for you to be getting so close to your short term goal!

    Water weight or not, it's gotta make you feel good to see that drop! Enjoy it and try to keep up the good work you've got going!
And this time of year sucks for the sinus crud - I've got it too! I'm about halfway done with my med too! I go back to the Dr friday, I'm hoping I'll be lighter and well by then!

    emoticon I've always considered weight to be the opposite of IQ scores. On an IQ test you can always score lower than your actual IQ but not higher. For weight, you can weigh more than than you really do (water weight, full belly), but you cannot weigh less. Both statements assume accurate scales.
