My back yard has lovely pink clouds of blooms from the flowering plum tree. Beyond the garden gate is bubble gum pink blooms of the Red Buds are breathtaking !!!
A few Iris are popping open excitedly. A few are purple and white. The blue ones open a bit later.
The giant ancient old oak trees are bursting with bright green buds, tiny leaves are unfurling. Pollen fills the air triggering sneezes from me covering the car with a carpet of yellow pollen.
Red Indian paint brush dance in the distance on our walks, a carpet of tiny yellow wild flowers are lovely too.
I agree.... here is it the first day of spring and I drove through swirling snow this AM on my way to yoga class. However, it is sunny and I know.....know....know.... better weather has to be coming soon.
