0.2# & looser pants

It's amazing how the little things can just start your day off right. I was down 0.2# this morning, but that 3.2 ounces can make, it shows that I am heading in the right direction... as does the fact that my tighter pairs of pants and jeans are getting looser again. My goal isn't huge, only 8ish lbs (getting back to 142), but it's better than the 60+ I was facing 5 years ago.

I think the NSV of the pants is almost more motivating than the 3.2 oz, but it's a near thing. Since both point in the direction I am aiming for, I am very chipper. It also makes my new theme of "You are what you choose" easier to hang onto. There are doughnuts on the table again this morning here at work, I have considered a half doughnut treat, but since there are none of my faves, I am walking on by... I am a plain glazed kinda girl. I can also rationalize not eating them since they aren't Round Rock Doughnuts (the best I have had, from Round Rock TX... which is about 750 miles and 12 hours from where I am).

I had a splurge night last night, which consisted of 10 M&Ms and 2 oreos. I like treating myself from time to time, but after a few, I just stopped, I'd had enough. Eating healthy for me is sort of positive feedback loop, I get used to it and I don't want as much junk. I still like the occasional treat, but I just don't eat as much.

I also took last night off of working out, which I think was needed. The good news is that my achilles tendinitis has pretty much gone away. It just kind of stopped hurting yesterday for no apparent reason... after 6+ weeks. I don't know if it has to do with my minimalist shoes or not. The pain and stiffness just sort of said, "See Ya!" (I am NOT complaining, just mystified.)

    3.2 ounces is important weight loss. It all adds up. Congratulations and I'm glad your Achilles tendon is better.
