My action item for today is to celebrate non-scale victories. Great timing as my scale hasn't budged in days, though I have hit my calorie range each day. I wonder if it is because I didn't accurately measure what I've been eating, or have not been exercising at the intensity/duration as I've done other weeks? Maybe it is because this week I've shared a decadent piece of chocolate cake + ate with abandon at an Italian restaurant, had two nights where the Haagen Daas coffee ice cream called my name (1/2 cup serving), or the extra hot chocolates?
But wait - that IS a victory! I haven't gained ANY weight while enjoying more than normal sweets & less than normal exercise. Woo hoo! And while I'm ready to get back to more healthy choices & up my exercise program again - taking it easy while still tracking & staying in "the zone" was really ok!
I'm also happy that I've kept the 10 min day exercise streak alive & the AF days too. And much better on the sleeping 8 hrs and drinking 8 glasses than I was 4 months ago. I'm also celebrating that my DH has joined the health bandwagon and has also added AF days, and walks with me. Yup - lots to celebrate while Mr. Scale is asleep.
