Fighting the Ridiculous Appetite

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

I knew it was coming, but I have the crazy appetite already. Yesterday afternoon, I had to eat every hour for four hours straight. Granted, all but the tamale my student brought me was pretty healthy, but it's time to cut up more vegetables.

It's a contradiction because the pregnant hormones make things taste like crap most times I eat, but I was so embarrassed that I was conferencing with students and my stomach kept growling, loud. I also have no idea what to eat because I am not in the mood for anything in particular.

Anyway, I might rest today because I'm still so damned sore from Sunday, and I think yesterday's short fitness minutes. I might just do yoga and some weights.

Yoga and weights sound good to me.

Yoga while pregnant is impressive. Awesome to stay flexible and relaxed. I was doing tai chi when pregnant with my first, and found balance and coordination got tricky pretty fast. I think your center of balance changes daily! Keep it up--you re doing great!

Love love love yoga. Finally found a great class on Monday evenings ... Candlelight yoga that is gentle and restorative. So lovely and I get in a good stretching to boot.

At least you don't have strange cravings like pickles and peanut butter. Do yoga, stretching and climbing trees
