Sick of being sick

So I've been sick, I picked up this pretty nasty cold last Thursday and it's still hanging on.

Out damn cold, out!

This is also how i feel about the cold weather, out damn weather, out I say! Seriously this cold weather has got to go!! And take my cold with you cold weather!

I started my Biggest Loser Challenge on Thursday, yep the same day this cold began. I wanted to start my challenge strong but life had other plans. I worked out thurs night instead of going to see Veronica Falls, which i had a ticket for. Anyway the weekend pretty much consisted of me laying half dazed on the couch, sneezing and coughing away. I haven't recorded my nutrition at all.

Even though I'm still feeling kind of lousy I'm trying to make up the 3 other days of cardio i need for the challenge. Yesterday i walked on the treadmill for the last half hour of Biggest Loser. Today i did some Samab and Paso Doble , which was fun. I have noticed that i get this temporary feel good ruch after exercise. I actually feel cold free for about 20 minutes after, then it comes back.

I heard somewhere that exercise helps boost your immune system, I'm sticking with that and telling myself each minute of exercise i'm getting better and better, now if only my cough and sore throat would get that memo!

    Hope you're feeling better soon! I had an awful cold--sounds fairly similar to what you have--right before the challenge and was still getting my strength back as the first week started. It was amazing how much a cold could knock me out!

    I've been sick since Saturday and woke up this morning feeling refreshed... no, no... I'm not rubbing it in... but try this for your sore throat and immune system.

Equal parts:
2 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp pure honey
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon

Stir and drink it as a shot!

I only did this once a day for 2 days and my sore throat was gone!

I also take Black Elderberry syrup (vitamin shoppe or gnc)
