We did a big grocery shop on Sunday and am trying to eat at home more. Better for us and also for the budget. My lunches I take to work have been yummy too. Had pumpernickel bread and egg salad on Monday and Tuesday with baby carrots to nibble on each day. Yesterday had a pudding cup and small rice krispie bar for dessert. Today had yogurt and a banana to finish off the meal. Didn't get any walking in- leagues last night and a club meeting tonight. It is cold outside and windy. The snow we got early Monday morning also left some icy patches so right now walking is not fun.
The meeting went well. The final (probably 12th revision ) for the club indoor bathrooms were presented to the membership and approved. Indoor plumbing will become a reality at the club. This is a huge step forward in many of the members opinion. Wasn't the end of the world for me. The rented porta-potties we have on site are palaces compared to some outhouses I have experienced in the past at horse shows and shooting events. If there was an outhouse available at some. Once the city and state approve the plans we hope to get it going and will rely on many members for the manpower and labor. We have a lot of skilled construction people in the club we hope will help for much of the labor. Question was raised about who will clean it. That will be added to the daily Range Attendant duties. I do not plan on being the only member who knows how to clean a toilet. Let's think this through, we have roughly almost 800 member total and there are 30 some female members. Guess how many members will not do anything to clean at all?
Last year we hit 79 for the high in temps. No where near that this week. Only in Minnesota!
