Thought I'd better update on my juicing process in case anybody is interested. I use another site for logging in calories (because a personal friend of mine uses that site and he keeps me motivated more that SP does. The buddy system really works. He texts me if I fall behind. He never forgets to track, so I know he'll keep me on top of my game.) so I don't get on here very often or even think about blogging anymore.
So, I made it through 5 days of strait juicing and 2 days juicing and whole foods. I lost 7 pounds. Unfortunately, getting back to eating after such restriction is not easy. I gained back about 6 of those pounds in about a week.
Since then I have taken all of that back off with sensible eating and juicing almost every day.
I will try a fast again, but not for as long and not until next month. This month I am just focusing on staying within calories and getting in a massive amount of produce. Each month I am going to fast for a little bit longer.
Right now I am working on getting into a pair of size 16 jeans that I own. I think I have about 10 pounds to go until they fit- 15 pounds tops depending on where the weight comes off of.
As for exercise I've been doing mostly strength training with a little bit of aerobics. I have been having a lot of problems with my asthma right now and I find that I can only tolerate short bursts of aerobics and a larger amount of strength training.
I am hoping to be in those jeans by the end of next month.
