So I watched the Biggest Loser Finale and was once again awed by the amazing transformations that took place on the show! The kids were particularly inspiring, especially the changes they brought to their whole families. I wasn't giving the show 100% of my attention, so I can't be sure if they showed them at all, but I know they didn't really mention any weight loss in Sunny's family. I hope that her mother's weight and poor lifestyle choices won't pull her back into bad habits.
It seems Bingo and Lindsay both got their wishes of making their respective teams. Although, I can't help but wonder if they would have had the same opportunities without the show. My opinion of high school cheerleaders is not that great, and I get the feeling that, had it not been for the show, Lindsay's cheerleading squad would have continued to tease and bully her, regardless of any changes she made. And if the baseball team Bingo tried out for is the best, it wouldn't be uncommon for even a great player to not make it; so I'm sure being a part of the Biggest Loser gave him a leg up. But I guess I should be happy that the kids got the opportunities they were hoping for.
I have to say, I'm still incredibly ticked at Nikki for quitting during the first week. Her space could have gone to someone who clearly would have appreciated it more than she did. I don't think she even deserved a seat at the finale to be honest, but I'm glad they didn't do anything more than just recognize her in the audience. I'm glad she didn't get to compete for the at home prize!
Now for the biggie - YAAAAAAAAAAAAY Danni!!!!!! I was so happy she won! BUUUUUUTT ... WTF did they do to her hair?????? Eeeek and ewwww! I am not a fan of that look AT ALL! I have seen that hairstyle other places, and I think it's just plain ugly. Sorry, girl, but you looked a lot better with your hair like it was right after makeover week!
Anyway, so glad that she won!
