Operation "Am I Nuts?"

Ok, I just weighed myself and I weigh 134 lbs. This is the lowest I've ever been. I'm getting ready to go for a run. When I return, I'm sure my weight will be 133.something. Possibly lower.

I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. I'm just eating healthy meals and I've started exercising again.

At the risk of sounding crazy, I am just DYING to know what it feels like to be in the 120's!!! If I lose just 5 lbs I will be there. 5 measly pounds!!!!

So... I'm going to do it. I don't know if I'll be able to stay there, but I'm just too close and too curious not to try. Too close not to taste it just once in my life- a life that has been consumed by obesity and morbid obesity!

Watch me do this thang!!!

    Congrats! Go for it! As long as you don't get caught up in the binge cycle again. That is the only thing that keeps me from pushing for 120 lbs. I'm scared of going too low and then getting caught back up in that horrible cycle.

    For many people, I would say don't do it. Even in your case, I definitely see no healthy reason for doing it. I think you look your best and are probably at your healthiest in the 130-140 range with your height.

That being said, I have faith in your abilities and that you know if things are not right. I know you can lose the weight because you are awesome and know what to do. So if it is just for a short term "I DID IT" moment, go for it. Just be careful not to then try for 110. Read all the measurements that you have going for you and use your head to figure out your healthiest point. Be careful not to let the whim over rule the wisdom.

You still rock though. ;-)

    emoticon Sounds as if you are in control of your body instead of the other way around, so proceed in a healthy manner and keep up posted of your time in the 120's.

    I love that it sounds like you are totally open to the idea that once you get there you might feel a higher weight is a better fit and then you'll gain a couple - I like how levelheaded it sounds, as opposed to someone just saying they need to be 120 or something - does that make sense? I totally get wanting to check out the 120's scenery - you ARE so close. But it definitely sounds like if it seems unhealthy once you are there, that you'll be like "okay that was fun, but no..." :) Way to be smart about it!! emoticon
