Imagine reaching your goal weight and seeing an old friend for the first time since you began your journey. Picture them congratulating you on your transformation. If you struggle making healthy choices today, think about how good it would feel to receive such a positive reaction for your healthy efforts.

I do this all of the time. I always tried in the past to get motivated in December when my in-laws leave for the winter and I know I won't see them until Spring. I have been trying but not as hard as I probably should. We'll see if they have anything to say when they come back next week. I am however at the point that I could care less what they think. I am in this for me and noone else. I would be happy with a compliment but if I am not there yet I am still going to keep pushing.

    I do this too. To keep myself going during tough weeks, I ask myself, 'where do you want to be by the end of the week or the end of the month?' Keeps me moving forward toward my goals!
