My nutritionally disaster of a weekend continued to monday and even a little bit today. I am hoping to stay within the high side of my calorie range today. I had a late start to work today. I woke up for work and just couldn't do it. I went back to sleep for a little bit. I got up and did a 30min Nike Training Club workout called "sweat + shape." It was a really good workout although the shoulder I separated last summer is acting up really badly. This workout was rough on the shoulders so I do see why. After that I got ready for work and got in 2 hours late. I apologized to my boss and told him I just needed a couple hours this morning. He was not mad because I am the one always expected to be at work early.
I'm still on my quest to find some normalcy in food. I know I can do it, I just think there are a lot of temptations at home in addition to just stress. I've been saying this for a couple weeks now, but I really want to start running again. I am just scared I will hurt myself badly again. I am going to start off very small next week. I do not want to start this week because I have a 72 mile charity skate on saturday and I need to be tapering anyways.
Tonight I have a two hour indoor skate practice. I got my "special socks" in the mail yesterday so the skating should be much more pleasant tonight. Hopefully with my "two hour delay" the work day will go by quick!
