OK someone needs to pinch me because I must still be dozing in deep sleep.
I cannot believe that after years of yo-yo dieting I have found something that really works. Could it be possible that by not starving myself on a depriving diet I am actually eating more food and losing weight. Yes it is true. I have learned how to cook healthy food so that it is delicious. Not like my moms diet food I watched her eat growing up which consisted of boiled egg grapefruit and cottage cheese. I now love cottage cheese by the way but I can eat it so many more creative ways than my mom ever did. I make smoothies with cottage cheese, I have berries and flax with cottage cheese, I even cooked a sweet potato and smashed it in my cottage cheese selfish
This is just one example of how food is no longer the enemy but actually my partner in reaching my healthy goals. The super foods that I now eat are like superheroes fighting away bad cravings and the desire for foods that will Saratoga my results.
I have lost 5 lbs since the end of January not a whole lot(I am in my 40's and premenopausal after all). But I am ecstatic because Everyday I am learning creativity with my food.I now am excited to eat instead do here we go same old same old.
So yes pinch me because I have found that by eating healthy I have more energy and I feel fantastic. Best of all I am not starving. Thanks spark for the wonderful recipes. I could not believe the brownies I made were only 124 calories!
I have posted pics of my food and will continue to post have to figure out how to turn them right side up though lol.
I have learned that consistent and persistent effort does bring results. I am just getting started I have 30 lbs to go.
