I havebeen eating to much at night. I need to do better. I want to lose weight for my health and of course fit into smaller clothes. emoticon

    I have lost 2 inches in my thighs so thats encouraging. I get tired of turkey chicken and fish so am always looking for different recipes. I will be gone a few days and then will have to get back on track.

    I totally can relate as l have the same issue, it must be the end of a day thing or something, l don't know! The more l read these posts the more great tips l find that are helping. Just don't give up and try some of the suggestions from others that have emoticon worked for them! You can do it!!

    Brush your teeth when you are ready to stop eating for the evening. Give yourself a cut off time and stay away from things that cue you to eat. Example, if watching tv triggers eating, do something different (take a soothing bath, read, do crafts, listen to music).

    Eat green vegetables. they are hea.lhy and will not destroy your progress.

    Focus on what you are going to eat at night, plan for it. I sometimes get up with insomnia and have yogurt or a bowl of cereal and, since it is after Midnight, I charge it on my next day's breakfast calories :-)

    That about what you eat and see if you can shift it over to something more healthy/useful to your body. Eating the "right" foods instead of junk takes some doing too. I did not have trouble getting rid of going out for fast food and after a few months of logging daily and messing with what I ate, I learned how to substitute lightly salted popcorn (it's a whole grain) for chips, etc. and got to eating foods better for me; now I just have to work on "amount" more.
