I saw on someone else's Sparkpage that they'd listed all the countries they'd been to and I really liked the idea. I love to travel, though I'm fairly new at the international side of it. I've been to 40 US states and 9 Canadian provinces, but I only just left North America for the first time at the end of 2007 (to visit England and France). Two years later, I moved to the UK, and that's when the real travelling began.

I have been to:
Belgium
Canada
England
France
Germany
Iceland
India
Israel
Italy
Puerto Rico
Spain
Sweden
United Arab Emirates
United States
US Virgin Islands
Vatican City
Wales

And I'll be adding Croatia to that list in just a few days! West Africa, especially Ghana, is high on my 'want to go' list.

What about you? Where have you been and where do you want to go? Anywhere you've been that you'd like to recommend? I personally liked Israel and India the best.

Oh wow, you've certainly travelled a lot of the world! I'm a terrible traveller & enjoy seeing places through books & other people's adventures - how boring do I sound lol, saying this I have been to; Scotland (very regularly and lots of it since we have family there it certainly makes it easier, but it is such a beautiful country would always recommend it only the weather can be a bit hit and miss!), Wales, France, Belguim, Holland, Spain & the only place we've been to in the US is Florida - there is so much that we'd love to do such as Croatia, Germany, Canada & much more of the US but the thoughts of the journey to get there fills me with dread :-/ I'd also love to do one of the European river cruises to see lots in a short space of time - that's probably my most want to do thing. Gosh I sound so tame compared to the travels of others but it wouldn't do for us all to be the same :)

Wow, compared to all of you, I haven't been anywhere! I live in mid-Missouri, and am considered a world traveler here because we have been overseas 3 times. However, all three times we went to England, since I love it so much. Also been to Scotland and Wales, and a gob of the states, but I want more, more, more travel! France and Greece are next on our list, as is Canada. Australia and New Zealand are also high on our list. Too many countries, not enough time.

I've visited:- England, Scotland, Skye, Wales, Australia, (top to bottom + right hand side) New Zealand, both islands, Norway, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Egypt, Israel, Gibraltar, Malta, Greece, Crete and Libya. I think my favourite is Australia. I'm visiting the US for the first time in September.

I've also vivited more deserts than most. The Simpson, the Gobi and the Sahara!

It's hard to pick a favorite country. So many great memories. Egypt was very special. I grew up near the Brooklyn Museum which has a great Egyptian collection. So it was great to see it all in Egypt. But with the near/mid East unrest, I suspect it's not as friendly & safe as it was in the early 1980's.
Also loved Thialand, Spain & France. Could go on.

Oh this is so much fun! I hope I can go to India sometimes... How did you like it there? I am also hoping to go to Wales at some point.
Among the other countries I would love to see there is Cambodia, Madagascar and Mongolia (and many others!). In the next few months, I'll visit Egypt, Algeria (where my mother grew up, I am looking forward to this trip!), Scotland (I'll visit a friend, I can't wait!), Hungary and probably one of the Gulf countries, not sure which one yet.

Here is where I have been so far:
Austria, Belgium, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Congo (Brazzaville, not DRC), Cyprus, Denmark, England (I lived in Reading for 4 years), France (not sure it counts, I am French!), Germany, Greece, Haiti, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Mali, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Senegal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United States, Vatican City.

I can definitely recommend Mali, although I know it is sadly not the best place in the world at the moment... I loved it! Jordan, and Petra especially, was also a favorite. Another place I love, much closer to home, is the Netherlands. Just writing this makes me long for a weekend in Amsterdam!

Currently living in Antwerp, Belgium which I love. I've also enjoyed visits to various parts of the Netherlands, the people are so friendly! Further afield, Oman is a fascinating country to visit - surprisingly beautiful for a desert country. I've yet to venture south of the equator, but Africa is on my list too! You've already been to most of my fav places....
