This is the first blog I have posted in what seems like forever.
I have stopped smoking, it's been 4 days now, and I have to admit, it's hard, and it is just one day at a time.
I read a lot of articles about people who stop smoking putting on weight.
Smoking burns 200K per day
Smoking speeds up your metabolism
Smoking can supress hunger
Again I only read it....the thing for me, is that I am CHOOSING not to listen. My weight loss has been really slow, since stopping tracking and putting half the weight back on that I lost over the past two years. I was the slimmest I have been in a long time....why the hell did I give up?! I feel pretty pissed at myself, when I look at the picture on my profile, to where I was and where I was.
I will get there again. I am concentrating on swapping smoking for working out! What could be better....
I feel confident that I will be a happy non-smoker, and I feel confident that I will get this extra weight off!
