The Good Old Days

Monday, March 18, 2013

Today I took my oldest grandson to his follow up Dr. appt. where he was given the all clear from his asthma flare up finally. She did suggest an E.N.T. specialist to check his tonsils since they seem to be enlarged. He didn't care what we were discussing as long as he was getting so much attention all to himself. We had left the other 2 babies home with Aunty, so he was totally eating up all the attn.
When we got home, we ate lunch, and put the 2 little ones down for a nap. He again got to have some one on one time but with his Aunty as she took him kite flying. He was so excited and having so much fun. Even when Aunty's friends showed up he was still getting plenty of attention until the babies got up, then it was back to sharing.
I however was having flashbacks to when my daughter used to be home on a full time basis. There were teens in and out visiting and 2 of the girls stayed late and my daughter took them home. It was just like old times and so much fun. I thank God for these days and the great memories. Amen

I also recall the 'good old days' when our 3 were home and even when I was a kid and home.

Those days can never be relived, can they?
