Compassion for all "Comrade-shorties." ( ^ω^ )

Monday, March 18, 2013

You see, some of us are too short..? If you call it Petites, it sounds good.
In reality,... " Heck yes, we are shorty.
**This blog is especially dedicated..for us, "the shorty."

I am a very attractive shorty. My high is only 5 feet and 1 inch &maybe half,
on my good days. But I am very proud of it as being a petite. (*^^*)

**Even though....

**...when I go to the department store for buying clothes, I may not just able to pick up right size clothe for my size, right from the rack or shelves.

**...clothes are on sales, but I have to take my pants or skirt to alteration place, so sales price makes it not sales price after paid for alterations.

**...I need a step ladder to reach top part of my own kitchen cabinet.

**...sometimes when I go to movie theater, I feels I need a booster seat.

**..I can only able to eat much smaller calories then those of a tall girls.

**..when I did over eat, I blew up like a balloon. not much margin to work with.
can't hide my weigh gained.

Yeah~ facing these hurdles are my every day life. But I don't feel these are abnormal anymore. I've been dealing with entire my life. And I even feel lucky because of this, I feel special.(*^^*) My dear husband always said " The best perfume comes in a small bottle." I call it myself, I am a "Transistor(small) Glamour" (*^^*) We are cute little .....

I appreciate " little things" that's "me." There are so many good things in me.(*^^*)

But sometime, we shorty get miss understands cuz of our size by generals..
When that happen...*\(^o^)/* (sorry dogs..I means no harm.)

In the End..We all are best friends. Tall, short, green or red, small or big.
"We share our Loves" love is all the matter. (*^^*)

Thanks for the shout out to all us "shorties." I am so glad I'm not alone. I am 5 feet exactly. You're right, dear friend. I keep waiting to "outgrow" my fat but I guess that's not happening so I will live my healthy life instead. Have a great week.

Mickey, God stopped early when making me too...I'm 5'2". Being overweight I always thought I looked wide as I was tall. lol. But I fit perfectly with my 5'9" DH! And that's all that matters to me. I think it was Garfield the carton cat that said, I'm not short...I'm undertall. And I'm not fat...I'm fluffy! When my boys were little and I would get depressed about my weight, the would remind me that I was fluffy...and they liked that.

As a 5" woman, I have dealt with being short all my life. Every one of those bullets was mine! I love finding clothes that actually fit! Being overweight makes it worse, but at least that it something I can work with! I love the saying "...God makes ..." Gonna quote that one sometimes! emoticon

Thank you Micky, it is a great blog and speaks to the truth of being short. To tell you the truth I have never regretted being short. Big people are so, well, so Biiiiiiiiiig. I have rarely met a man who was too short for me. If I was slim my clothes would be cheap even if I have to hem them all up. I live 6 months of the year in Mexico and here I feel average. Lots and lots of very short people here.

That is so adorable! Since I am 5' 11" you can imagine how helpful I can be. The tops of refrigerators, the can on the top shelf at the store. Any nook and cranny that calls for tippy-toes or long arms. I've always been tall and mistaken as a child for being a lot older. Now that I'm older, all kinds of tall people are coming out of the woodwork! Several of my friends are "challenged" by being petite but I still "reach out" to them. Thanks for this. Made my day!
