Update on the Food Tracking

So in the haze of cold meds and what is possibly a form of the flu I accidentally deleted my previous blog about food tracking.

Update to that though...I took all of your advice into consideration, mixed with the fact that after only one day my calorie count was way off I'm back on the tracker wheel. I unfortunately have the problem of eating too little if I'm not keeping an eye on what I've put in so far. Still going to try to not focus so much on the actual number but more on the nutrients and the cal. deficit with exercise.

I've been sick since Friday so I haven't gotten much of a workout in, if any, which totally screws with week 1 of my Spring Challenge. :( good thing there's like 10 weeks in total.

    Sorry to hear you're under the weather. Emergen-C saved me from getting completely down with a cold. Its a powder that you put in water or drinks and has vitamin C. It lessens the duration of the cold but if you take it early you may not get the fullness of your symptoms. Also helps you down that daily water intake. Hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself first and then get back into your routine, you don't want a relapse.

  Sometimes, sickness is a means of telling you, take care of yourself. The work out can wait because as you get better, you already know what to do! Eating less isn't always a good thing and I suffer from that one as well. Not wanting to eat the bad stuff just to bring the count out and don't want to eat to be full, just satified. however, you are tracking and learning! Good going as it's a learning opportunity. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Drink a lot of water and orange juice and get some rest....chicken soup is good, but unless you have some in the freezer or in a can, that can wait till you're feeling better to get out and buy some.

I hope that cold gets better quickly and that you aren't left with an ugly cough or something....forget counting...just do your best and please eat!!

Let me know how you're doing and I hope you're back up running again quickly!!
