First and foremost....I SO blew it over the weekend. Not the setting down, stuffing my face blew it. The snacking non-stop kind. Friday we had dinner at Island Flavor (a Hawaiian place). I had the
Kalbi ribs with rice and I asked for a green salad on the side (the salad had a couple of slices of boiled sweet potato and a couple of quarters of tomato, a bit of 1000 Island dressing on it) instead of mac salad. I didn't eat all of the ribs. I took home about 1/3 of it.
Then I had a piece of Chantilly cake.
Sat was normal. We did our shopping. Getting things for when the kids get here on Friday. We stopped for lunch at In & Out, got it to go and ate at home. Then for dinner we had a pizza (frozen, baked at home) I chopped and added the left over ribs to it. And I had a Shamrock Shake before dinner.
On Sunday we had breakfast (I made a bacon scramble for me) and then just kind of snack until dinner. I had put a corn beef in the crock pot and cooked it for 8 hrs (with baby red taters, onions, and green cabbage). It was great! But sometime during the day Sunday I consumed a whole box of Thin Mints.
So it wasn't one of my better weekends. Then today...I was only able to get a 40 mins workout in at work. I was training one of the new guys and didn't even notice it was lunch time!
On the GREAT news side...hubby has rejoins Spark! He went to the Dr and she was concerned because he looks to be, if not diabetic, at least per-diabetic. She gave him a test thingies and he's been doing it twice a day. I'm logging for him (food wise) for now. And his feet hurt so bad he doesn't workout. I know he'll be SHOCKED when he see's what he consumes each day. He's joined a few SP teams (mostly ones I'm in too). I'm going to keep encouraging him to keep doing this! Also..he PASSED his big test on Friday, so now he can be an SR Inspector at work. It means a promotion and pay raise! He's worked hard for it and I'm SO proud of him!
Dinner tonight is up in the air. I read a few more shortish books this weekend. Karry, Nick, Caleb and Malia will be here Fri (sometime!). I can't wait! Although it pretty much suspends workouts all of next week.
