I want to invite you to take a trip with me!

If you were on a trip and along the way, there was an accident that slowed the traffic down, do you turn around and go back home? If you got a flat, would you change it and then head back home? If there was a detour because of road construction would you get frustrated and turn around? If you ran out of gas, do you give up on getting to your destination? What if that destination was your wedding or to get the hospital to give birth to a child? Would the destination and purpose for your trip have an impact on the decision to continue on your way until you reach that place your heading to? Depending on the importance of your trip and whether it is a place you want to go or whether you're being forced to go there, does it matter? If you were being forced to go to war, would you try to sabotage the vehicle or try to do things that would disqualify you from being eligible so that you wouldn't be forced to go? If you found out that you were headed to a place where there was Black Death Plague, wouldn't you do ANY and EVERYTHING possible to prevent your arrival to that place where you know you would be infected and perish?
Then consider this: Your destination are the goals you've set! They are the Wedding or the Birth of a child and you've started your journey to get there!
Consider also this: Where you are at now is the beginning of your journey and it is the war that will lead to your death or to the place of the Black Death Plague!
What is your strategy what are you willing to do to get there? Why are you on this journey! What is the reward for succeeding? What is the cost of failure? At what point will you give up and turn around?
Maybe such a word picture can help motivate you and allow you to prioritize what is important! Little set backs like a flat, a detour or slowed traffic are like bingeing one day, going over your calorie limit or eating something that doesn't fit into your ideal nutrition plan, missing a work out or whatever! Are you going to turn around, give up and go back to where you came from!
Now that I'm on my way, the children that have need a healthy daddy to stick around for as long as he can! Sorry for taking a momentary detour to stop by and visit you but it seems we are headed in the same direction and I just wanted to say hello so that I won't be lonely on my trip! It would be nice to see you at our destination so please don't give up and don't turn around! I've seen the devastation back there and there are many who still haven't made to choice to leave! I wonder how long they have left and what hell they will have to endure until the end? I am glad you have made the choice to leave because you matter! If you have a flat or get lost, just give me a call! I'd be happy to help! I'll even bring the gas or a spare if that is what it takes to keep you moving forward!
Be Blessed! Know that you are going the right way! Don't sweat the small stuff, just don't turn around and give up!
