No tv so I wrote a blog

Monday, March 18, 2013

Today the TV has been acting up. The channel would just freeze or it would say it isn’t available and to call to order that station. I think they are either working on some things at TWC or the TV is asking for me to give it a break. I do watch way too much TV. I watch smart TV and movies with some of those guilty pleasure reality shows. Finding Bigfoot, Snooki and Jwoww, and anything supernatural.

With the TV now off the house is quiet and peaceful. I really need to discipline myself. I’ve had it somewhat easy growing up. Right now I don’t work so my job is to clean house, keep an eye on my grams, and to fix dinner. I pretty much clean for about 30 min everyday and veg out the rest of the day. There is a day in the week where I do about 2 hours of cleaning. In the past I have made me up a list of things to do every day and I’ll do it for a day or two and then go back to my old ways. Its not laziness, its just …. changing my habits.

Right now the house is a mess. Last week we pulled everything out of my grams room to clean the carpet and we put back the things that actually go into a bedroom and now we have a lot of extra stuff in the living room and dining room. I really want to sit everyone down and have us all go through things. Keep, yard sale, pitch, donate. When I do bring this up grams goes crazy and starts yelling about moving back to West Union. That’s about an hour and a half from here. She takes it as us saying we don’t want her things here. With my aunt she goes on about how I can do it myself because she works all day. That’s fine I get that but I still need her to go through things with me. She also says that when she has a day off she wants to relax and write. Again Im fine with that but she could at least write and not play Spider Solitaire and listen to music. With the things we don’t use or need we would have more space and a cleaner looking house. --- I never win.

What I would like to change about myself … could take all day for me to type up so I’ll break it down.
*Get to bed at a good time and wake up early enough to fix breakfast for everyone.
*Get all the house work done; dusting, cleaning, vacuum, bathroom, laundry, etc.
*An hours worth of exercise/cardio(or 2 hours)
*Shower and lunch
*Me time = reading // writing // tv // Garden of Time on FB
*Dinner time with the family
*More exercise. Walking the dog with my aunt and doing some toning
*Watching shows with the family. Primetime.

I’m going to try my best to start this tonight. I really need to get to bed at 9:30 and wake up at 5:30. I do like getting up early but only if I have something to do. I don’t like getting up early just to sit there bored. I could be sleeping.
