Well, I am back at it again.

Hopefully this time to get the job done. Today I woke up and said protein and fiber for breakfast. And for lunch too! I headed out for a spring walk after lunch. It went like this:
Where are my walking shoes? Hmm...dig 'um out of the closet. Wow, they are a bit worn. Oh well, on they go. And I head out on a walk.
2 minutes in... Wow I am already winded and my knees hurt. It has been a while.
5 minutes in... hitting my stride...this isn't so bad.
10 minutes in... I don't think I can go any farther...this is torture. Of course now I am 10 minutes away from home so I at least have to go on for 10 minutes more. Continue on.
15 minutes in... I relaxed a bit and took off my jacket. Noticed the clouds. Noticed an airplane high up. Said hello to a few people. Laughed at the yippy dogs.
20 minutes in... I noticed I was slowing down. I sucked in my stomach and tried to put on a bit of speed.
25 minutes in... I noticed my shadow. I was waddling. Well, I am quite overweight. It can't be helped. I will have to waddle for a while I guess. Onward!
30 minutes in... the homestretch. Home and nice glass of water are in sight.
At home now. A little achy BUT to be honest, no more achy than a long stint on the sofa correcting papers leaves me so there you have it.
It's a start.

    Thank you for sharing this. I am just getting back to it also and have been dreading that first walk. This has inspired me to just do it! Keep up the good work.
