This weekend and past week was not horribly bad. It was actually a good week. Last week, took a break from running and switched up my exercises some. I did The Biggest Loser Boot camp in the morning and Weight Loss Yoga in the afternoon. One day I switched up and did The Biggest Loser Cardio Max. That was definately a work out. This also helped me when I picked running back up today. I did W5D1 again today. The last time I did this same say was March 7th and I was about the same level as today. So taking the week off did not hurt me at all. I think my knees appreciated the break from pounding on the pavement.
Saturday, my husband and I went out to his 12 acres that he owns. We picked up a bunch of scrap metal to take to the scrap yard. In its previous life, this land was used to dump whole houses. So it has all kinds of things buried. This brings in some extra cash which is always helpful. After dragging and throwing into the trailer, my husband wanted to walk the property lines in order to find halfway marks for putting up fencing. I had no problem walking it. I was so excited to be able to walk around the whole thing. Last year, I could barely do it. I had problems and was out of breath very quickly. But this past saturday, I was able to do it and at a brisk pace.
My husband thinks by working out and losing weight, I would be able to handle the Texas summer heat. That would be awesome if it actually works. Hopefully by the time it gets really hot here, I will be 50 pounds lighter.
