Monday, March 18, 2013

After four years of me writing about the hardship of unemployment my husband and I had to go through , God opened the door , he got a job last week!!!

Things are looking up , and going through all this ma de me a much stronger person , not that I ever want to go th rough it again , but it really had me change alot of priorities in my life and my relationship with God.

I am having a good start to my week , feel more focused and alive, having that burden of husbands unemployment lifted off on me has done wonders already . so heres to an awesome week!

I know what you are going through. My husband has been out of work for nearly 4 years. It has been rough. But through all our trials and tribulations God has prevailed. I was working a temporary job with no benefits for 5 years. I normally looked for work that is more suiting. But I stuck it out with this job. I had other job offers but the insurance wasn't worth me leaving where I was at. So, I stayed. My husband had become a stay at home dad, we were on state assistance and Medicaid for my kids. My husband has had 2 heart surgeries in the past and now has no insurance. We didn't know what to do. But I kept applying for any jobs that would be beneficial and after patience and faith, I received a permanent position with the state and I got a $14 an hour raise with benefits. 3 months after starting my new position, my husband was on the verge of another heart attack. He had heart surgery for the 3rd time. It's taught me never to give up and to fight for what we have, need, and want. God is good. Hold on to that feeling of humbleness through life, because you know where you have been and you will do all you can to never be there again. With help from God anything is possible. God bless and stay strong, because you are. You've proved it. CHEERS!!! emoticon

We may not always get what we WANT, but we will always get what we NEED. You needed that time to grow with God more than the job. On HIS timetable, not ours..

You got a bigger gift than $$4 during that time... lot s of them, right?

Great going and hugs to you and the bubs!
