Crossing off my first goal!

When I started I had one simple goal, lose 10lbs. I have gone into so many diets where I make unrealistic goals (lose 50lbs in 6 months). Setting higher goals is overwhelming to me. I can't seem to see the destination if its that high. So this time I set a small goal to work on. Lose 10lbs.

Well I am proud to say that on Saturday, I FINALLY reached my 1st goal of losing 10lbs!! I even lost a bit more and am now 200.4lbs! Almost to Onerland! emoticon Woot woot!

The road to 10lbs has been rough. It started off slowly and I was discouraged several times. Having a regular workout schedule has helped with this goal IMMENSELY. Since starting the Spark your Way to 5K, I have found the scale going down. But besides losing this weight, I have noticed that the stairs have been a bit easier to climb and I seem to have more energy.

My next goal is to drop down to 195 which is a lose of 5.4lbs. I would LOVE to do this before my wedding (May 27) but if I don't, I don't. I am not going to stress about it too much. I just want to feel good with myself. Those wedding pictures last forever and I need to find my inner confidence.
