Holy smoke am I glad to be back to work this Monday morning. I think I worked harder at home this weekend than I have in a long time.
Not sure if I was in a state of Euphoria, but I woke up Saturday morning and sometime overnight I had crossed the line to back under 300lbs! So then I was deciding what I needed to do for the day other than heading to the gym.
Saturday was spent cleaning out the closets. I went through all of my clothes. I started with the intent that I was getting stuff ready for when I do finally get to the next size down. Then I started looking at it and I had pretty much worn it ragged when I was on the way up. I ended up getting rid of 4 garbage bags of clothes. 2 for the trash and 2 for Goodwill. I did come across some new pants that I am almost down into that I had forgotten I had. After awhile I just decided to toss the worn out stuff or stuff I would never wear, so now I need to organize better what I have into what fits now. What I have to look forward to and what can go as soon as I comfortably fit. I know it won’t be long. I think the biggest issue is the smaller stuff is tight and all my stuff now is loose. So the tightness is uncomfortable.
Add in to that doing all the laundry and painting in the bathroom. Plus a trip to the gym. Saturday was busy.
Sunday dawned and I had to run to the store. I had decided to make the Crockpot Chicken Taco Stew for dinner. And I had gotten everything but the taco seasoning. So a trip out for those and some casual dress shoes later, I made my first crockpot meal! It was pretty easy as most anyone else knows. The best part is I have lunches virtually every day this week. I bought extra chicken and so when I started the meal I went out and threw that on the grill. We had pork chops on Saturday so out of leftovers I am covered all week. Not only will I be eating healthier but will save a little money in the bargain. And just so you know, it turned out yummy!
Sunday I also finished up the door to the bathroom so that is all back together now. Yay. I even went to the gym and walked 30 minutes on the treadmill. I have decided to walk on my off days from the bike to see how I feel and if I really need the rest day to do nothing. I am dragging a little this morning but I am not sure if it is cumulative of all the work or the added walking. Spinning class is tonight but I should perk up by then.
