Quick update

Sunday, March 17, 2013

I only took the dog for two walks today, but they were long walks, so he is happy. We covered 13.2 miles over those two walks. I could probably take him out for a quick trip around the block, but he is already in bad fast asleep, so I think I will let him keep sleeping.

I had chili for lunch from that big pot I made last night. Chili always tastes better the next day, doesn't it? I will probably have some for dinner tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow looks like it will be a busy day. One of the things I have to do is go get more blood work done. Oh joy... more needles. I plan on getting to the gym as well, so that should be good.

Have you ever tried a taco chili salad? I take regular lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc,. that you have in a normal salad, cover the center in chili and crush up some taco shells. Top with light, fat free sour cream and dig in! It is delicious, and still healthy and perfect for day 2 chili.

And I agree, day 2 chili is the BEST! When my roomy moves out, I am gonna have to attempt to make chili, because that is one thing she excels at!
