Losing momentum

I'm losing interest in dieting. I'm sick of eating prepackaged meals. Last week, I indulged in REAL food more than I will admit to. I hope I've eaten everything I wanted and my plan is to get back on track this week.

Breakfast:
Oatmeal + cranberries

Snack:
Special K Dark Chocolate Shake

Lunch
Chicken noodle soup + 1/2 cup of mixed vegetable
Ham & Cheese Lean pocket

Dinner
Broccoli
Apple
Hormel Spaghetti

Snack -
Special K Cappuccino Shake

However, I'm still enjoying exercising. I've put my walking dvd in the machine and have packed my bag to go to water aerobics tomorrow evening.

    I agree with MRSVK11! As you know, I started out following The Simple Diet with a goal of 112 total pounds to lose. When I reached a loss of about 75 pounds, I transitioned to Phase 2 of TSD and researched The DASH Diet. I incorporated some of the DASH Diet's principles and continued to have success without the pre-packaged entrees. It was a little scary at first and even though my weight loss slowed a bit, I have continued to lose following a new way of eating and introducing more REAL food back into my diet.
Just like you have varied and spiced up your exercise routine, the same may be necessary for your eating plan. You are doing so great and I wish you much continued success!

    Sounds like you need to shake up your meal plan somewhat? Why do you rely on packaged foods? There is so much variety and ways to "spice" up your meals if you prepare them yourself. Meals don't have to take a long time to prepare. You can buy precut veggies and salad fixins, chickens that are already cooked, precut fruit if time is an issue, but I would think packaged food would get "old" pretty quick. Try stepping out of the box and exploring different foods and different ways to prepare them. Spark people recipes.com has so many great ideas. On the upside, you are doing the exercise and water aerobics sounds like so much fun!! Don't quit.... remember "real food" can be healthy and great tasting all at the same time! Good luck.     Maybe it's time for phase 2...or, what I often do is have grilled meat under 300 calories and veg. You're doing amazing !
