Life Is Tough

Sunday, March 17, 2013

Why can't my ex stay out of my children's lives? He damaged my oldest in ways a parent never should and now 25 years later he still manages to do things that gives my son no peace and he battles severe depression the way it is. My ex is on marriage number 3 and has duped this woman too. He has her convinced he is a Christian, yet he has done unspeakable things and has yet to apologize to those of whose lives he has ruined. That is not a Christian, a Christian seeks forgiveness. I am so sad for my son right now, my burden and heart are heavy. Come Lord Jesus, give my son and me peace.

My Ex was a horrible person to me and especially my /our, son. He and I got divorced when my son was almost 12, and I moved North to get away. Best thing I could have done. Mental abuse is harmful, giving them low self esteem and always trying to win approval. Both my kids have met him again when they were young adults. Seeing his behavior they were not impressed with how he turned out. Now neither reach out, because its a one way street and they know it. But we learn to be tougher. Life isn't always easy. It makes it more pleasant when we are Away from Negative people. As a Mom our work is never done. We can only give them twice the love and try and make them understand its not them, its the Fathers problems. ((((HUGS to you both))))

It never seems to end and we end up blaming ourselves for marrying someone who would hurt our children. I am praying for you and your son. emoticon
