Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe Review

I had never been a huge fan of Chicken Cordon Bleu as a kid, but now that I've got more grown-up tastes, I thought I'd take a stab at it. I love the recipes on and decided to use this one:

This was really easy to put together--quite a bit simpler than the other stuffed chicken recipes I've used from the site because the two stuffing ingredients don't require any prep--and the only change I made was that I used full-fat Swiss cheese. Since I had already eaten quite a bit earlier in the day, I just had one piece paired with a baked sweet potato and some steamed green beans seasoned with garĺc salt and crushed red pepper flakes.

The result? I absolutely loved it! The flavors worked so well together and this was pretty simple to pull together. I've got lots of leftovers for the coming days and my husband loved it as well. Anything that gets a thumbs up from him is a keeper in my rotation because being able to make and eat the same things makes my life so much easier. I've still got some stuffed peppers left from Friday, so I'll have some tough decisions to make at mealtime tomorrow, lol!

    I'm so glad to see this recipe and I'm going to try it asap. Just this weekend we attended a wedding reception where Chicken Cordon Bleu was served and my son asked me why I don't ever make it at home!
