March Goals - the halfway point update...

Happy St. Patrick's Day SparkFriends!
March is flying by and I wanted to take a moment to review my March goal progress.
* 1000 fitness minutes.
Well. I'm a little behind. I'm sitting just over 400. I haven't been moving as much since I've been working more. I finished two major projects last week. My work schedule should ease up for the rest of the month. I know in the long-term I need a solution that isn't impacted by my work hours increasing. OK. Let's be honest. I know the solution. Better planning, scheduling and ditching the all-or-nothing. Little movements do add up.
* Water, water, water.
Not too shabby. I've definitely done better with my intake. There is still room for improvement though. I can say that it does make a huge difference. On those days where I'm drinking steadily I've noticed my cravings are non-existent and my energy is up. Just gotta remind myself to drink throughout the day.
* Back to the plank.
My goal is 4 days a week. I've worked on this 4 times in two weeks. Grrr... There is no excuse. Just haven't made it a priority.
* More planning and packing.
This has been a HUGE help as I've had to work more and my schedule has been crazy. I didn't nail it everyday but improved great leaps and bounds from last month. I've actually enjoyed the time spent on Sunday's cooking. It's such a load off my mind knowing I've got food ready to go for the week.
* Register for a 5K.
I'm down for the May 18th Rails to Trails 5K in my area. There is a walk and a run. I'm giving myself 4 weeks to determine which group I'm going to be in. I want to be in the run (well, slow jog) group.
