Erin Go Bragh!

Sunday, March 17, 2013

Our big parade is today with a lot of green beer, 5K runs, Wee leprechaun runs, lots of green.. people in Ireland actually do not even recognize green as their color,, Only Americans.. (Interesting factoid). My dad used to take us to the parade when we were small, but as I got older, it was just another way to make me cold. We got more snow last evening, it is in the 20's.. The real Saint Patrick is all snug and cozy in heaven,, warm too.. I chose to go bargain hunting with DD. We went to three stores and should be pretty well set for now.
I was all bundled up and still freezing..

This week DD will call and confirm her appt. with U of M and get her instructions for meds ahead of time.. I will have the day off, so that part is taken car of for now.. I hope to get in some steps when we go down there,, I have never been to the actual hospital,,but I know it is a world renowned one and huge.

I am not sure if we are going there or to the health center in a nearby town like last time.. the biopsy should determine what their next plan of action will be. I am not stressed, know that God is in control..

Love Celtic music! We don't get it on our TV in TX. but when we get home, our PBS carries it.

Thank you for a great blog. I don't celebrate wither. I think shopping would be a more fun thing to do. Hope you had a fun day!!

DH and I went to a Celtic concert it was an overflow crowd. Everyone enjoyed the performance and DH and I went out to dinner alone. It was nice.
I am glad you went out shopping together. We too had low 30's but plenty of sun. We are still being forecast for a storm on Tuesday

I hope the weather is good on the day of your journey and hopefully you will get good results from the Drs. there for your DD. emoticon emoticon to both of you.

Pat in Maine.
