my goals...

here are some goals for this year, and ways to reach those goals... thing is, i have written this before, REALLY want to do this... i have asked friends to help me, but the support hasn't really been there. i know that i have to do it myself, but would love to be accountable to my spark friends, could you guys help encourage me?



goal list:



physical goals:

*be 147 pounds, wear i size 10 in jeans, be fit, firm, flexible, strong, sexy, defined, toned and healthy, relaxed, yet alert. since i am 181 lbs, right now, this is a difference of 34 pounds. i will be my goal weight by September 8, 2013... this is roughly 5.6 pounds a month which is reasonable, attainable and healthy.

*how do i plan on accomplishing this goal?

*work out 5 days a week (DVD's, including cardio- for weight loss, weight training- for toning and defining, yoga- flexibility, and or karate, also walk/jog training.)
*maybe buying some new videos
*eating moderately, and healthily, following the "sparkpeople" guidelines
*doing "sparkpeople.com" everyday, using their food and exercise tracker
*use positive mantras and positive thoughts, and visualization and relaxation techniques.
*use visualization and relaxation techniques



mental and emotional goals:

*be more positive, and not so hard on myself. celebrate my accomplishments, love myself


how will i obtain this goal?

*give myself small rewards for goals attained
*use positive mantras



spiritual goals:

*become a better Christian, be able to be a better example and witness for Christ

how will i reach this goal?

*study my Bible everyday, take notes
*go to church every Sunday that i don't have to work
*help at the soup kitchen
*writing in my blessings book, every day
*pray often, without ceasing



social goals:

be closer and more connected with family and friends

how will i obtain this goal?

*call friends and family, and text them more often. let them know how much i love them
*send them cards and small gifts
*make sure to schedule individual special time with them



educational/professional goals:

become a fitness/self-defense certified instructor

*how will i accomplish this goal?

*get healthy, fit, defined
*start studying the program (read at least twice a week)
*continue to talk to Sensei about this

    We are very close in our weight loss goals. I am hoping to reach mine by my birthday. (Sept. 6) I originally hoped for June 15th, but 2 lbs a week just isn't happening. I had to get a little more realistic about how I lose weight now in my late 40's. (It stinks, LOL.) I'd be glad to encourage you. We can do this!
