Once a month, I get together with some of the moms I've befriended through my son's tee ball team last year. Majority of us were single moms with only one child so tee ball was a way of giving our kids a chance to meet some other kids but also for moms to connect.
4 of us have become pretty close and regularly do things together. For example, today we are taking all of the boys to a local fair. The weather is beautiful today so why stay inside?
Last night we got together and went to a hookah lounge for dinner and hookah. It was quite and experience. The food and cocktails were amazing! I'm watching my portion so I had a jolly rancher martini (it was to die for) with lots of water on the side. For dinner, I opted to go for the tapas plates so I had 6 spice potatoes and crab risotto croquettes. Yum! We had every intention of going someplace else for dessert but decided not to. Thank goodness!
The hookah part was fun. It was totally non-tobacco based and we chose a cosmopolitan flavor. It was sooooo much fun laughing and hanging out with them. We truly have a ball when together. On the ride back home we kept talking about how we look forward to these monthly events. It's the one time we get to not be mommies for 3 hours LOL
If you are ever in Atlanta, you have to check out Divan Restaurant. It was fun!
