Something New for St. Patrick's Day

Sunday, March 17, 2013

My grandmother was 100% Irish. My Dad considered St. Patrick's Day a major holiday. I have never really celebrated it by going out and doing anything. Shame on me. But I decided to do something this year. My church had a catered party last night and had the Silver String Dulcimer Society perform. So we went. It was nice. The food and company were good. The group was wonderful. And it really didn't last too long. We didn't have any alcoholic drinks, so no hangover this morning. I was glad I did it. Dad would be proud.
