I recently came across this website that challenges users to lose 4% of their body weight in 28 days. As incentive, participants pay into a "pot" and those who achieve their goals within the time frame split the winnings. Since I've been feeling the need for a little extra incentive, I signed up for the one with the largest pot. There's a $25 buy in (to keep everyone accountable and to raise the stakes). Right now the pot is over $31,000, with 1200+ participants. The challenge starts tomorrow (3/18) and runs through April 15. In order to be successful, I'll need to lose a little more than 10 pounds. I know that's achievable with hard work and dedication!

I've also been thinking a lot about smaller "rewards" to give myself along the way. I feel like I make a similar list every time I attempt to lose weight, but it really does keep me motivated. Especially if I really want the things I've determined will be rewards. That said, here's my list:
Below 260- A new water bottle. (I am seriously coveting this)
Below 255- A new, fierce haircut (if I can reach this goal by April 8, I'll also dye it purple.)
Below 250- A Basket for my bicycle
Below 240- A Massage (I already have a groupon for this)
Below 230- Sign up for an art class
Below 220- A Mani-Pedi
Below 210- A Massage
Below 200- A Vacation
Below 190- A Vespa!
Below 180- A New Wardrobe!
