Happy with My Consignment Sale Payout & Got Flannel Sheets for $10

Yesterday I picked up my unsold items as well as my money made from the second church consignment sale I participated in. I was very happy as I only made $3 less than at last week's sale, so not too bad.
My kids for the most part have outgrown most toys and even some books as they mature and get older (and of course there are clothes that they outgrow) so for the limited amount of items I had for sale, I'm happy.
We are thinking that this summer we will buy an amusement park season pass for the family as we haven't gone in probably 3-4 years. My daughter, who is gradually learning frugality from her mother, mentioned that my total amount earned at both sales will pay for two season passes to the amusement park, LOL. Smart girl!
I did go by JC Penney's yesterday since they had a promotion going where you saved $10 if you bought $50. I was going to go anyway to pick up some of their $5 Arizona t-shirts for my daughter and I (they fit me great and her too and we love them) so it didn't take long for me to get close to $30 I was going to spend anyway.
I went to the housewares dept. and noticed that they had their flannel sheet sets marked down and so I grabbed a set for $20 (queen-sized, but the smaller bed sizes were cheaper) and was on my way to saving $10. I essentially paid $10 for my set of sheets and was thrilled with the price I ended up paying. I have been on the lookout for some since we don't own any and this was perfect!
