We had a lovely weekend, including JET BOATING on Auckland Harbour

You can't see it but we are SOAKED in this picture!


Then we went out for dinner


And had lunch with the grandparents, and my tech-savvy nana snapped this on her iPad


Then I dropped him at the airport and we got very emotional. Saying goodbye is getting harder and harder :( 11 days until I see him again, and it is for easter weekend so I get 4 whole days!!

    Aww, I know how hard it is to say goodbye. When my hubby and I were dating, we lived a 2.5 hour drive apart for the entire time we dated (a little over 3 years) and we saw each other every other weekend.

Sounds like a nice weekend for you two, even with the emotional goodbye.

    LOL, no we didn't go out barefooted, we just hadn't put them on yet. I drive barefoot, and his were in the garage

    I didn't! Everyone who was stationary in my house felt it, but I was walking down the stairs and didn't feel a thing (or believe my poor boyfriend who insisted he just felt an earthquake!)

Your tech-savvy nana has an *i-pad* - she sure is 'tech savvy' !!!! It's a pretty good snap, too!

Did you get to feel the earthquakes this a/noon? One was just off where I live, but didn't feel a thing - my son text me from Auckland to alert me to it.
